The client bonus and possible reduction of the administrative cost component for your TyEL insurance for 2020 are now available in our eServices. The client bonuses paid are based on Varma’s strong solvency and efficiency in 2019.
The client bonuses and possible reduction of the administrative cost component will reduce the next TyEL insurance contributions or they will be paid to the customer’s account in accordance with the choice made earlier by the customer.

Client bonuses for 2021
As a result of the coronavirus situation, the labour market organisations have proposed changes to pension insurance contributions, which are currently being prepared under the direction of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. The employer’s TyEL contribution would be temporarily reduced as of the start of May until the end of 2020 and some reliefs may take place in the earnings-related pension companies’ solvency regulations. According to the proposal, earnings-related pension companies should not pay client bonuses for this period.
